People complain about the apple tax, how about the drobo tax? Maybe they should consider a lower priced option that normal people can afford.
I guess I'm being pedantic here but I'm pretty sure you don't put quotes around a paraphrased sentence. I'm not an english major but I kinda thought quotation marks were for quotations. I do not usually catch this kind of stuff but this instance stood out.
I want to know if the author actually purchased busycal or if it was given to him for free. I find bloggers are all to quick to recommend new software when they don't have to shell out hard earned money for it.
I use bento for my insurance inventory of stuff I own. It's great for that but I can't say I'm super excited about the new version. Guess that's why they're offering a rebate to existing customers.
That's funny, I had the same problem with SL too. Guess what? Replacing the battery fixed it.

Sorry, batteries die and they go bad really quickly. Causality has not been established between SL and battery failure, not even in that apple forum thread. Just a bunch of people understandably venting about a battery dying before we feel like it should have.

Complain about the poor batteries and leave SL out of it.
Why is the blogger without a lot of flickr experience the one reviewing a flickr app? Surely someone at TUAW is a rabid flickr user and would make a better reviewer for this app.

I'm not saying everyone needs to be experienced in every web2.0 site but flickr is extremely popular and it shouldn't be hard to pick the appropriate staff for this.
I love the fact that you write for an ad supported blog but you can't live without an ad-blocker on your own computer.
This blog is like Leo Laporte, likable but waaaay to quick to jump on the newest thing, regardless of whether or not it's useful. I've been burned several times buying new 'gotta have' software recommended here before and I have a feeling the writers forget that people actually have to pay money for these apps, unlike the reviewers.

Color me skeptical but I'll be holding off on purchasing this while the jury is still out.
I was also an early adopter of the Dash Express and was very disappointed with the device. The tech has promise but they dropped the ball on the hardware.

Hope they stick around long enough for V2. Dave Zatz makes a good point about the types of users drawn to forums in general.
Why would I use something like this to generate .bib files when I can use the excellent and FREE bibdesk application?

Seriously TUAW, where's the LaTeX/BibTeX love?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
