was it charging? playing music? on? off? did the cat push it down? surely it doesn't just burst into flames just like that, does it?
wait, wasn't Ireland part of UK? i thought they launched last year?
looks like a 6 to me.

anyhow, i think the megapixel race for camphones is overdone... 5 megapixels is more than enough for what the candid shots we want. Seriously, who'd depend on phones if they wanted to print out something on the size of an A3 paper. Phones are for candid shots, and people are missing that point. Get a DSLR if you really love photographing so much.
@constable Odo

what a great display of ignorance. travel sometimes, dude
gee, but when is it coming to singapore?
erm, what's the point of this post?
999 euros is still non-competitive... i expect them to sue again
all this rivalry is bad for business....and over an iphone?
i sense this scenario happening:

someone wants to earn a quick buck, so he signs on an iphone plan, then gets unlock code and officially unlocks the iphone, then he sells it at maybe (200 euros more, and uses his already useful current phone with the plan he just purchased.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
