Dont get your hopes up guys, the o2 website is saying that £15 per month charge for tethering......already on top of an unlimited data tariff. So really they are charging us to use the bluetooth....??? I would expect AT&T to charge $25-30 on top of your contract for what is an absolute farce of a situation.

The handset cost is not the issue here, its the fact you have to pay the remaining months contract to upgrade instead of starting the ball rolling like last time. I signed up to an 18 month contract 12 months ago, now if i wait 6 months i can upgrade, but wait.......6 months after that the new iphone will be out again, so i have to wait another 12 months for that??? (Common sense lacking on someones part here?)

For this price i can buy an unlocked phone from Japan/Asia and use any network....what motivation do i have to stay with my carrier if this is the weak customer service they pull?

I've started a petition on the o2 customer forums to try and force the issue before launch day

I so hope this is real, that is an amazing idea with the dock in the glass track pad.

Not sure why apple would opt for a black surround around the screen?!?! Still beautiful fake if it is, if not, ill have one on release day!!!
Its the new code they have to type in the new series of Lost
You see, abu ghraib isnt all that bad....
I don't want to cause a panic however i have just purchased this from the UK iTunes store and it downloaded instantly! No problems for UK users. Is this a first??

I read something about 02 not giving a shit about tethering, im pretty sure that UK users are okay!! Woo hoo!!!
Its now down, still says i have 5gb and 5gb, must be buckling under pressure...
Me too, itunes 7.7, bring on iphone/pod 2.0 and mobile me!
Erm HD only on apple TV which is a shame... However aboot freekin time we got movies (films) here in the UK. I for one think that the £6.99 is a reasonable price if im being honest. £10.99, perhaps a little steep as why should a new release consitiute a 40% mark-up?

Anyway, i wish i didnt just splash out on my ps3, i would have bought an Apple TV instead.....at least GTAIV will keep me sane.

Anyone know how to get macs to stream through their PS3???
there are now commercially viable 3g chipsets available that will give the awesome battery life demanded on apples products. I'm pretty sure engadget covered this some time back.

If people are complaining about paying for the iPhone again then get a job. Apple must purposely set a high price so its customer base is an eliteist niche. We don't everybody having one because I'd doesn't have the same BOOM impact when you whip it out unfront of colleagues or your friends. I forget the amount of times ive been the topic of conversation due to the iPhone.

Anyways the one feature I hope apple add is geo-tagging when you take photos using the built in gps. And to have sat-nav working with google maps. This will be awesome!! Although I'm interested to see of it will work in the background or not??
well the queue is mighty at the moment, shame I'm stuck at the back for thetime being! Security is rife and its rather chilly, tuaw boys make ueself known!!!!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
