When You Die, Will Your Life Insurance Be Found? {Accuquote Blog}

Jan 25th 2008 11:23AM Now the big issue is actually getting publicity for the site and also getting the insurance companies to be forthcoming with the data. I think it might be a problem because findyourpolicy.com is actually a third party and might cause come privacy date issues.

A Progressive Auto Insurance Reduction Scheme {Accuquote Blog}

Nov 27th 2007 2:17AM Why not? It works well and has been proven in places line singapore and the UK where even road tax is reduced if you agree to only drive a certain few KMs a month or only during weekends!

Listen to Your Buddy's Tunes for Free {People Connection Blog}

Nov 26th 2007 2:19AM Great concept but I tried it earlier this year. The problem is that I live in Malaysia where the bandwidth can be at times small causing problems. I don't seem to have problems with Itunes however which is a bit wierd.

Insurance Fraud for the Insurer {Accuquote Blog}

Nov 25th 2007 12:40PM I certainly wish that other western insurers took the same level of measures that Nippon Life did. The insurance companies of late have become increasingly larger and have steadily reduced levels of pay-out. Executives who can help the insurance company keep as much of its finances are given big pay bonusses and are rarely if ever put under the spot light for moral conducts.

More on the Economist's slam job on AOL {The Jason Calacanis Weblog}

Nov 24th 2007 3:35AM The point is that the reporter's view of AOL (expressed in the story) and my view aren't the same. We agree that AOL missed the boat the past six years, but not about its future prospects. There's nothing inappropriate in that; the way the quote was used just left room for misinterpretation.

Verizon and Asurion insurance scam. {The Jason Calacanis Weblog}

Nov 24th 2007 3:28AM The sad fact is that most insurance companies treat their customers this way especially when they are trying to make a claim. The less claims that the insurance company pays out the better for them!

How green is your auto insurance? Consider Esurance. {Autoblog Green}

Nov 22nd 2007 1:07AM Looking at UK there are actually insurers that do the same thing however they base the reduction in premiums to the level of CO2 that your car produces. More insurers are following suit as there are actually tax benefits to working this way over there.
