Can someone answer this for me?
- I was told that the ION is just the Nvidia 9400M with an Atom chip.
But I was also told that the 9400M can't output analog video.
But isn't VGA/D-SUB an Analog connector/port?
The new MacBooks are unable to output analog video without a converter box because it uses 9400M.
Anybody have some information on this?
I know it's not the best source for accurate apple news, but I was researching Skype's phone plans yesterday and they have this image on their home page (mac home page I'm guessing). I actually went to the Apple Store website thinking that there had been an announcement for a new iMac model today. As it turns out they don't currently sell anything that looks like this.
Now, I realize this is probably just some icon designer having a little creative liberty, but if you look on the rest of Skype's website their mac icons are pretty accurate to actual computer models, for like color, proportion, button placement and so on.
So I know it's not really much but I figured there was someone else out there that might find it interesting.
I still like Google's iphone app release notes "new version number" "ninja"
Linpus?
Am I misreading that or was it a bad name suggestion?
Sam's club had a Vivienne Tam edition marked down $400 off because it was the display model and someone had set a BIOS password on it. So I called HP and they want $400 to reset the BIOS password. LOL. Whatever. I wish the MSI wind had those looks... then it'd be a winner.
the CNET review said that it was 1024 x 576. I don't know if there's much of a community for puttis OSX on these but that would kill the deal I think. The lowest vertical res that leopard is usable at is 600. But I don't think the resolution is that good then.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
