You do realize that to this point, no one, other than you, has even mentioned an iPhone or an iPhone-killer.
yes! Milwaukee is on there!! Woo hoo! 12/30 I will be a happy camper for the hour that I'm at the airport.
Well being that they said the HTC Hero, they are talking about Sprint. The G1 doesn't use the Sense UI that the Hero has. The article is talking about how they are developing the Sense UI on the Hero...which doesn't exist on the G1 at all.
There is no HTC Hero on T-Mobile. There is a MyTouch 3G...but no Hero.
Exactly...I had a task killer...but then I uninstalled it when I decided to trust that the phone would know when to close whichever application necessary and haven't had a problem. I also don't use the native messaging app, I use Handsent because the native app KILLS your battery life.
Imagine the profit potential if they had a vibrating motor in there for whenever you received a phone call.
Well it's not like these things are going to be at Home Depot tomorrow. They are announcing the product they are continuing to develop.
I'd be pissed if I lived near that and had windows facing that. Lol!
Actually, I downloaded the update via the Sprint network and it only took 5 minutes to download. Yea, slow if you were comparing it to wifi, but actually over the network, that's not bad. Besides, it updated while I was at work...I didn't have to do it once I got back home.
Wow, way to take the little bit of exercise that was in golf out.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
