Life with PlayStation in pictures and video {Engadget}

Jul 2nd 2008 1:30AM sony is a big company and won't run out of resources by making a realtime rss channel-- and from what I have seen home is just running bugfixes- at least i sure do hope so - I am really wanting to get my hands on it

AirPiano single-handedly redeems air instruments from irrelevancy {Engadget}

Jul 2nd 2008 1:15AM it seems that it is similar to the air synth (which I own) and air fx that came out from alesis a bit back that uses an IR beam to gauge distance pitch yaw and roll to modulate- I think that the air piano is kind of boring- but make this into a midi controller with assignable parameters, usb support and a display that shows the zones and I am sold- I would love to use the IR control to slice up beats and trigger samples live

MetroPCS MetroFlash welcomes Verizon, Sprint customers -- and their devices {Engadget}

Jul 2nd 2008 1:05AM hmm was just checking the coverage- I am surprised, I have been on it for something like 6 years now (credit problems had normal carriers wanting a $1500 deposit to get a line) and when i started, it was only here in nothern CA and in atlanta georgia- they really have expanded coverage- I am glad they put up LA and vegas- now they just need to put up reno and all of my usual travel destinations will be covered

Jul 2nd 2008 12:57AM cou;d be nice- I like the whole keypad thing- I had a vision M that my GF is now using since I have been using my archos 604 wi-fi- I like the big screen, but it might be nice to have messenger and a small form factor- though I would miss the touchscreen

Microsoft's XP for low-cost PCs defines some boundaries {Engadget}

May 13th 2008 9:48AM @jovray - I have a wibrain b1h umpc with xp on it - I mainly run ableton, flstudio c4d and photoshop on it- none of which run on linux. for those of us that do anything in these realms- 3d, audio, graphics- linux is just a playtoy- not a usable OS

Cowon Q5W does SNES emulation with a PS1 controller {Engadget}

Mar 10th 2008 11:41AM since it runs on ce- what are the specs on it? if it handles the acceleration okay you should be able to run a dreamcast OS on it natively

Young Optics set to dish out pico-projector by mid-2008 {Engadget}

Feb 26th 2008 2:36AM screw the cellphone thing- I want a low power consumption handheld projector to use for hooking up to a ton of things- psp, archos- if it had vga I could use it on my wibrain or a second monitor on my laptop

Asus' Eee PC gets torture tested on video {Engadget}

Feb 26th 2008 2:13AM my old toshiba 333mhz model handled that and more- drpped it on the street and it got run over by a motorcycle and it still functioned for years after until I gave it away

PSP slim gets super-hackable PSP firmware v1.50? {Engadget}

Feb 4th 2008 12:49PM can't you just drop 1.5 with a pandora battery? I haven't tried it on my slim yet- mostly b/c I have been waiting for a 3.8/3.9 m33 install from 1,5 so I don't have to do 3.6>1.5>3.5m33-2>3.5m33.3>3.(8/9)m33 which is all kind of a pain
