Can anyone else see that this is just a 3D mockup on the LP560-4's press shots? I did some marketing material w/ these exact photos. If all you need to start up a tuning company is some 3D software and press photos, I'm in! Webstore in 5, 4, 3, 2...
Bose has already introduced 3 different sets of PC speakers before...second gen companion 2 series 2, 3 piece companion 3, and 5 piece companion 5....bose computer speakers have been around since at least 2001ish that I know of...still, good to see some new ones I suppose...
VMD, sounds - like an std... The disks would probably be pretty expensive to manufacture - esp on a red laser based media - which in the process would up the cost to the EU....w/ the fact that it sounds like very little studio support and hardly any recognizability to the name...i'm not so sure about this one - show me a catalog of disks that outweighs hd-dvd or blu-ray and some quality hardware from a reputable source...and maybe i'd think about it - i dunno...i think they're losing before they even get started - esp in a game that's in quadruple overtime already.
i dont care how much...i NEED one.
iWould iLike an iPhone to iUse for the rest of my iLife. =)
i love how that if you read the translated page the phrase "brassiere beer link" keeps popping up....i really gotta buy a sony
A white one would be AMA-ZA-ZING!
"One time i spilled some apple cider on my electric carpet...yada, yada, yada....now grandpas dead"
I used to think the Blackjack had a horrible keyboard...then i tried the iphone. I can't handle a touchscreen non-tactile keyboard. Granted I love everything else about the iPhone, but the keyboard is crucial if you text, im, or email a lot. This keyboard looks on par w/ the blackjack keyboard, albeit with flatter keys, which would help increase surface area. I think palm has a solid, low price, capable, entry level phone on their hands - which i personally think looks better than similar devices (t-mob dash / older palms). I'm going to pick one up for my Sprint account in October....just as long as it doesnt have win-mo on it!
@sr1329 you might want to re-read what i wrote...i was comparing it to audiophile grade equipment...not placing it in the same category. That is also paralleled by my stating "mid-level "prosumer" audiophile category" - meaning its better than most, just not really quite there. Sure, it is expensive and you are paying for style, but that has value for some (myself included). They also, however, have pretty amazing customer service...they're one of the few companies i know that support their products up to 10 years past their discontinuation...that's pretty amazing... Try getting customer support for your RCA dvd player from 1997...prob not going to happen.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
