Dell Mini 3iX has WiFi, 3G, and a number of leaked UI photos {Engadget}
Nov 2nd 2009 10:46PM The UI looked like Android with lame colors at first, but then i was like wait, it's not. Infact, it's uglier than i thought.
Unfinished Windows 7 feature exploited for virtual WiFi hotspots {Engadget}
Nov 2nd 2009 2:36AM People that saying this feature exists (including the ones mentioning how it only exists on macs), you are thinking of adhoc. Yes it does exist for windows and mac, but that is just a connection from 1 computer to another, then you can share your internet connection. Not every wifi device supports adhoc, and with this, it just creates a wifi access point that anything can connect to. Don't get me wrong, this is not new technology, hell, i've even seen an app that does this on WinMo.

Dev finds Windows Marketplace DRM severely lacking, easily circumventable {Engadget}
Oct 9th 2009 1:12AM I_Love_Microsoft, you did not understand me correctly. XDA is not a replacement to app store at all. It shouldn't be. If you visited XDA, you would find that it is ROMs, not actual apps. What the original d-bag was saying that iPhone gets updates for the OS and WinMo does not, and this is where XDA comes in, updating your OS to pretty much any WinMo flavor you can think of.

Though i guess the Kingston supports more formats, i need to use an adapter to get my MicroSDs to fit in there. Still cooler looking nevertheless :P

Oct 8th 2009 8:56PM benhc911, yes exactly. WinMo is older, but everybody is pretty much new to this 'appstore' type thing. The old way of selling stuff seems to have been replaced.

Oct 8th 2009 8:55PM Yes I know, but it never had this 'marketplace', it's new to this whole centralized app store type thing as it is just copying the trend. All in all, Android had this particular 'feature' first. Though before, using the .cab in WinMo required extensive amounts of cracking, such as keygens, and registering maps on GPS software, so it's not all that easy, and I'm sure this will continue with WinMo, even with the marketplace, as opposed to Android, where nothing is required at all, you just install the .apk.

Oct 8th 2009 8:42PM Android had this 'feature' all along. Except instead of .cab files it uses .apk, but same idea.
