I've been using curse client for a little over a week now.

It is still buggy.
And feels like a thrown together Port (which it is)
I don't feel like they really wanted to make a mac app they just didn't want to loss potential advertisement loss due to WM

and this was there fast fix for it.

the limitations and bugs are due to a port we all know that is not the way to make things.

Now for something curse wants to make money off seeing there pushing this addon will be a subscription how can they offer a port that just plan wrong.

the one thing i must say is it is limited to just curse.
If they can add a RSS download feed via add update link for addon's or something along those lines so none curse addons can be updated also from add on developers own sites and so forth. This would push the addon it self foward.

I under stand this is a company that provides a service but you guys are trying to change gears a bit and produce a product. People have to want you product not forced into use it because they like your service. If you can not produce a good product then higher someone to do it for your or don't lock and limit your self.

There is a demand out there it the ground running and meet it. Before someone else does.

Wow read some more of the help file on curse.

So they want premium users to pay a subscription fee.
Well i understand the need for money but make a product worth it.

Also on top of us shelling out money they are going to be taking our data isn't this on the same moral lines as they are accusing WM.
There should be a chouse not forced ontop of a subscription fee.

No wounder why it takes longer to update with curse then WM.

I'm Sorry

You guys brought it on your self.
How do you justify doing it on Patch day.

I will tell you because you believe you can make more money today by everyone being forced to goto your site and make money by clicks.

You guys do supply a service and you do that well.
But the problem is you guys can not produce a good product.

If it money your after then chance the way you do business to another model.

Simply put your business model can not sustain it self in this bad economy.

If locking the doors and charging a price for your service will help then make a plan and do that before the bad taste in customers mouths grow.

I have no problem donating or giving some money for a product and service. The problem is you have a good service and crappy product.

Yha i totaly see where your comming from.

But at the same time curse for example wants you to use there addon
there are no add's there...

I don't mind using curse's as long as it works well with mac's and its not realy there yet.

And it only works with curse which limits it and thus i have to still load something else to check

I realy don't know where this is going.
But i can see if this becomes a big deal WOW steping in and making us use there addon's or there addon manager...

I don't care who the addon is from
But needs to work well with Mac's and able to pull addons from multiple sites

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
