this could find a home with my droid envious homeboy.
DPC is an issue on alot of laptops, especially those sold by Dell.

My Native Instruments Audio Kontrol 1 is completely useless in Vista or Windows 7 due to the DPC latency issue: audio just mysteriously drops out for 5 seconds at a time... yet it isn't *as much* an issue in Windows XP, or the issue manifests itself differently: just the occasional click / pop.

I would change everything. Or rather, I did. By coincidence, my htc titan, which had shipped with winmo 6.0 (and I subsequently upgraded to 6.1 and then 6.5) kicked the bucket yesterday. With very little hesitation (I did ask to at least look at a touch pro 2), I walked out of the verizon store with a shiny new droid. The keyboard sucks but is usable, and the camera sucks. Aside from that, this is the single most impressive piece of handheld tech I have seen. I will give m$oft another look when winmo 7 ships, but at this point I'm. Seeing few reasons to give them another chance.
Whether we're talking iPhone or OS X, isn't that what Apple operating system updates do?
Somebody says "Not everyone wants an iPhone" and gets voted down into oblivion.... pretty funny.

Anyways, if I recall, Microsoft was giving VS away to students; that may still be the case. Even if not, I'm pretty sure there's a drastically discounted student edition.
Everyone, ESPECIALLY Engadget will be praising Apple for their "revolutionary" design when they release something like this; and they will.

I'm going to go as far as to bet that Ryan pops up to review it. Mark my words.
Is it bad that the 2 hard drives my entire business depends on are making noises something akin to a drunk hamster in a wheel?
and by milkshake you mean...
oops, I meant "no complaints".
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
