Doug, or Dan, or really sad arsehole, I live in the UK you total fucking douche.
You can tell her when she removes her cock from your mouth
I can't believe you created an account on a blog simply to insult someone that you don't even know. That's well macho, your mother should be proud!
this is painfully funny, and kinda strange. I keep getting told I look like Steven Seagal because of my ponytail & leather jacket (coincidental, not intentional) & now I find out he's a part time policeman!

I WAS A PART TIME (voluntary) POLICEMAN 3 years ago FOR SIMILAR REASONS!! (I worked in the entertainment (games) industry & wanted to give time to the community)

God, I'm like a less cool, less famous & less rich but younger clone!
@Nick Meijer

What????

The Eszett has been around for CENTURIES & has no links whatsoever to any sensitivities over the war. What an insane idea!
Torrentz.com is a pretty good aggregator in my experience
Actually, I thought that the best film for not doing that that I've seen recently was Funny People (which I thought was really good, despite the average reviews it got)
It was a funny yet bittersweet film and the last 30 or so minutes were definitely not a schmaltzy resolution of happiness, just more an acceptance of a situation.
I'm pretty sure you answered your own question there.
He didn't say they couldn't sing, he said it was a karaoke show, which it is & he's right about the judges.

The problem is that 'proper' musicians see things through the eyes of people who've had to put the slog in to get where they are and (rightly) think that these shows just create more fodder for the ailing record industry to keep afloat by selling rehashed generic pop back to the people who lap it up.

There will never be a credible alternative for 'proper' musicians because as soon as it becomes a TV competition & controlled by some guys in suits the music loses the thing they lament.

There is a place for these types of programs, the same as there was/is a place for gladiators & wrestling because the general public don't care about integrity or how hard people work but about what gives them something to talk about when the show's over.

I go to gigs to see real bands, and so do quite a lot of other people so I say as long as there's a place for both & as long as real bands get supported then everything's cool with the world
To Inu (again)

Your argument is moot. If someone asked me what my brand new Citroen can do that me 10 year old ford escort did, there is very little I could come back with other than "it's new & shinier & has better "
The same can be said in this case, and in most cases of software upgrades.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
