You can rent or buy the games.
I hope this thing fails big time. I really don't like the idea of paying for a game and the not being able to play it if the company folds. I will always take a console over this crap.
I don't think it has enough battery life to sit through the 45 min cut scenes.
Unless they add a second analog stick there is no way i'm buying one.
If it is not any different from the closed beta that is currently out then who cares. I'm in the beta and it is so booring, there is nothing to do.
Functionally it may be ok, but it is bland and booring. They need to do something with the design of it. Sony won't ever do the netflix thing because they don't make any money from people streaming movies to their ps3's.
If anyone actually buys the garbage they deserve to be punched in the face.
Maybe the will upgrade their server bandwidth so it doesn't take me 2 hours to download a demo.
Maintenance the day socom comes out, brilliant!!!
Microsoft lets you download them as many times as necessary and transfer the licenses to any console also. Sony needs to get their heads out of their butts.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
