Please don't forget this is about the US market, not global figures.
These are amazing news and to the right direction as well!

Some have commented that Symbian Foundation is playing "catch-up". It may. But Apple played catch-up with its first iPhones too. Only now, with the 3GS he eventually had a mobile phone that would record video and have copy-paste, so please, always consider what the other producers can offer.

Last but not least, the ace in the sleeve for Symbian devices is the Qt. A unifying programming framework that will allow thousands of developers to work on one code set to deliver to both Symbian and Maemo.

And considering the iPhone's commercial failure in China and other developing countries, Symbian has more than one chance to do it right this time, albeit the delay.
Nokia should buy Palm and use this name to brand its products in USA and Canada. Palm's name is much more known there.
I don't understand why you guys find it it so "outrageous". And no, I don't consider it an "imitation" either. Product managers and promoters are in the *market* for their services. If one brand pays, they go. There's no fanboy allegiance forever.

For God's sake, it's much more pathetic when it happens in European professional football: imagine a player going from Inter to Milan or Barcelona to Real Madrid... it's all about MONEY! Wake up!
Do you know of any importers in continental Europe? I'm really curious to try these cheeses...
Wow, I really want the behemoth of Microsoft back strong in the mobile market. No Microsoft, no party!

It's good for the competition...
This is simply amazing. I loved the vibration table, lol!
But in Minority Report they didn't have to touch a screen to manipulate the content.
Alfa,
you are wrong. And I have lived in Italy as well. Prices can be without IVA (VAT) as well.
Sometimes resistive is simply better. Imagine cold environments (Scandinavia?!) where you have to type on your touch phone while using gloves. I don't think this is possible with capacitive screens.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
