@atomicthumbs That keyboard looks awful, and is never going to ship.
Droido, or whatever that Android-powered console without all the ludicrous, extraneous hardware is called, Has a more powerful processor, the same video hardware(sadly), and is already shipping.

Basically, the competition is real.
It's a scam.
I've known this from the beginning. L Laugh at your pain, for it is self-inguced.
@WizardStan I'm referring to EvilDragon. If he's not the one who's posted this set of images, I goofed. He'd been doing the blogging in the past.
I'm saying they'll have problems if they don't want to use the stock firmware, more specifically if they want to use a different/newer kernel.
Judging by the comments, I doubt many people will want to use the stock firmware.

Again, search "gma 500 ubuntu" for a loooong list of people having issues with this chipset.
@atomicthumbs A zealot is one who thinks "DO THINKS MY WAY OR DIE!"
I am not such a person.
I just have no sympathy for people who complicate their lives with software they can't control.

Search 'gma 500 ubuntu" for many, many examples of how this chipset complicates the lives of linux users.
@WizardStan I was referring to the hardware, which I still doubt will ever ship.

The guy posting all these images is a known troll.
@microlith I have hardware 3D on every machine I own save an 8 year old Toshiba laptop, which never had it.

I choose my hardware carefully, based on whether they release code and specs.
@sdedalus Exactly. Those are binary blobs.
Maybe you should do some research before spewing some bullshit.
@Chip I don't use binary drivers.
PowerVR=Binary Drivers.
Have fun with that, if you ever get them.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
