I currently own a HD2900PRO but I just ordered 2 8800GTS 512MB cards. I hope that ATI can get its game on again. It sad to see it get its @ss kicked every time nvidia comes out with a new card. For all of us on the nvidia boat I see we still have the upper hand.
"Well, considering that I have my $43 single core Celeron-L 438 1.8GHz (Core2) overclocked to 3.06GHz and it outperforms a $900 Athlon FX-57, I'd say this new dual core is one hell of a processor."

You need to get up to date man. The FX-57 was back when AMD was on top. Intel has had the upper hand for a while now. FX-57's are going for $150 on ebay. Go get yourself a new Q9450 and see what the future is really like.
yeah and its guys like you who dont have a gf because all you want is to see it... i admit she is very attractive... but if you want to go watch girls go to si.com...
i think jon doe uses the phrase ewww to much... maybe hes gay... as for vista its a great OS... on my X6800 system with 4GB of ram and a 2900XT... but i agree with it being alittle to much for the eee... but i would do it just to try it out if i had a eee... i think i would try osx too...
well we all know where flashpoints mind is... in the gutter... way to go pervert... that talk is for porn sites and gizmodo... as for the gadget it would be nice for snowboarding...
oh yeah but if you get an ipod you are locked to itunes... you can buy locked music... you can transfer the music only to the ipod itself and not back onto the computer... you can get it overpriced... you can freeze up your computer every time you connect it... you dont have to transfer music wirelessly at all because it doesnt have the feature to hassle with in the first place... oh and you dont have to shop around or be original... you can go to walmart buy it and your set for life... i
creative makes a great product. when it comes to syncing WMP11 will sync your playlist and library for you if you choose. you are not forced to drag and drop but at least it gives you that option (ipod). when it comes to the ipod and why people buy it i would have to agree that most of the time it is its "cool factor" however i have owned 6 ipods and currently own a ipod touch and it isnt because its "cool" but because the ipod touch has the best touch screen interface hands down. i also own a archos 605 wifi but as great as that device is it cant hold a candle to the smoothness of the ipod touch. this is why many people buy macs over pcs now. because out of the box macs require no tweaking and work incredibly smooth. i recommend macs to many people even though i would never buy one. macs are great for a many people i just like to have more control and enjoy adjusting my OS. as for the rest of the MSM (main-stream-morons) who buy ipods because there cool, well more power to you.
cowon really needs to just spend a few days on a OS and use its amazing hardware to blow the competition away. as far as that hacha PA20 goes it is a very interesting device. has anyone used one? it seems the it has a great list of features for a very low price. but it may suffer from the same issues cowon does. neither of the archos 605's i own hiss. jesse must have used a defective unit.
i agree that the samsung p2 is pimp. and the only ipod i would think about ever buying is the touch. but the touch only has 16gb of storage and its price is sky high. maybe if apple threw down a 64gb ipod touch for $400 i would buy but for now ill stay with my archos 605.

"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
