Me, me!
I read from the Chinese site of that hands-on link, that it's even weird then you'd think...... They seem to suggest that the "Android UI" is just a fake look-a-like skin
For all the dudes who only know about that phone from a fruit company, just go ahead and google "Picsel viewer", "Picsel proviewer", or "Picsel browser". Sorry to tell you, but for the few who's used Sony's Palm OS5 Clie handhelds, we've been enjoying smooth scrolling with momentum for 3~4 years before that phone with all the glory was released. Also, Picsel is on most of the highend Japanese phones, and the A-series linux phones Motorola released in Asia. I'm just surprised that Picsel waited this long to sue.

Yet, I hope they come to a reasonable license agreement. If they succeed at suing the fruit company for a ridiculous amount in damages, then there are much more touch screen phone companies and even mp3 player companies that could be Picsel's next target.
It's not GSM nor CDMA, Willcom uses PHS, as far as I know, only used in urban areas in Japan, Taiwan & Thailand.

Yet, Willcom uses it's own uniquely modified/updated version of PHS.
As a previous Palm fan, I have learned in the past years to read through Palm's public announcements.

When some new product is said to be "released this coming summer", you can rest assured it will not, if it ever will.

When an approximate date is given for a product release, that would actually be the release date of a "press release explaining the delay of the product release".

When Palm does ever release a "new product", there is a very high chance it would be the exact same thing as the previously released Treo, and the Treo before that, and so on...... except that they have bumped the model number up yet again.
I want to see a photo of this right next to an iPod, with the iPod on the right
So they are the people who first though of the idea to unreasonably raise prices with the "iPod compatible" banner...

We still see it today, mini headphone jack to car cassette adaptor, "iPod compatible" labeled ones are frequently priced twice as much as other comparable ones. Only difference other then the label is the white color.
Palm, reminds me of their supposed-to-be-released-in-the-near-future Linux based next gen Palm OS, which seems so Duke Nukem Forever-ish to me...
So does that mean the AT&T Centro would be discontinued in months? I don't believe it, this is the US, not Japan.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
