Excellent review, as an early adopter I agree with everything you're saying, except for one MAJOR problem - your dislike of the media button. I am very pleased with what the media button does, and find that it actually /empowers/ me to be able to manipulate my music while the player is in my pocket. The screen that's pulled up is large and simple, and I find myself very easily changing the volume, the song, or pausing without pulling the device out of my pocket. While it is still a two step process to do anything on the player, I feel this will always be a limitation of touch screens, a limitation which the HD handles as close to perfectly as you could ask for.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
