Considering IMDB was started in the UK and still is based (or at least has offices) in the UK that's odd.
These things may be obvious to people who follow Apple, but to people who don't, having a company like IDC who can pull together rumours and make predictions is useful. If you wanted to invest in iron ore extraction, for example, you'd want an analyst who could tell you some important facts about the industry.
I don't get a terribly good signal at my parents house in Westminster/Kensington and often get cut off. That's despite the 3 nearest phone masts apparently all being O2 (according to OFFCOM).

I travel down to Brighton on the train a couple of times a week and get a good signal almost all the way (except for tunnels, though some tunnels appear to have masts in them).

3G in Brighton itself can be very patchy and very slow too - I've had simple sites take a good few minutes to load sometimes and just going inside can easily cut me off entirely...

I don't have any other network to compare to, but friends say Vodaphone is much better.
3-4 years experience does not a Guru make.
I use Awaken on my laptop as an alarm clock, which works well, but have anyone else had the problem where they keyboard shortcuts for snooze etc stop working and the mouse is reluctant to work? It seems to eventually work with a lot of clicking and cmd+tabbing... I seem to have this about every other day, which is very frustating.

That said, it does make me wake up a bit more!
Just click the 'vote' button without selecting anything. Seemed to work for me...
You'd probably miss the extra RAM more than anything else, but your existing computer seems pretty good already...
DisplayPort is bi-directional, so you can use it for input or output. Obviously for anything other than a recent Mac laptop you're going to need a (probably expensive) Apple adaptor.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
