my 8000 tough comes with a microsd->xd converter - you can probably pick one up on ebay to work on any olympus camera

it appears to the camera as the fastest type of xd card as well, so no probs recording unlimited video etc
I don't get it - you can get shures for the equivilent of $30 here in the uk

why so much in america (just don't have the base spec ones perhaps??)
I think some of you guys are confusing playstatin eye (hd ps3 camera + mics) with the eyetoy (ps2 camera, sans mics if i remember right, and low res)

whats stopping a lcd having a variable refresh rate, ala crt? would solve a hell of a lot of these problems, then you can have a 96/100/120hz set and everyones happy
see that mode on your camera marked 'av'? select it, wiggle the jog wheel until it says 'f:18' or similar. then we might get more than 15mm of iphone\tv in focus.

one small bit of gaffatape (ducktape) and you've got your own segway there..
@maveric101 - agreed, but shame they time it at the point when the us$ is finally picking up - 11 days straight of rises against the gb£ - from 2.00 to about 1.85 in under a month. ouch

ouch. if 4mb/sec write speeds are to be believed, it'll take 2hours 20mins to fill this bad boy up. time for a cuppa?
reason for so many models? they don't offer customisation, and just sell direct to high street/web stores. What's the issue? granted they could maybe name them a bit better, but given you can probably have 10^10 combinations of a lenovo t62, how is a choice of 20 really killing anything? And how is it diluting the brand - 'eeepc' is still very much the 'hover' of netbooks - adding an extra 5 to the range doesn't change this. It dilutes the value of a '901' but if punters are buying a 900 instead, why would asus care?

poor, bias reporting once again engadget. 1/10
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
