iPhone 3G to be shipped in eco-friendly packaging: spuds {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jun 30th 2008 6:53PM remember not everyone has to activate in store, for existing o2 users in the uk we get a phone call, there register a new contract down the phone and post the phone out to us. There is no queing for existing customers so the packaging would be nice. Not every iphone user in the world is using AT&T.

Mars Phoenix lander discovers ice on Mars {Engadget}

Jun 21st 2008 1:41AM regardless mike just like you said we have no proof for it but also none against. Granted the odds are slim but billions of years of evolution could have created something out of anything and we can't say it didn't. I understand what your saying but as far as we know there could be a element we don't even know about, granted its all speculation but its also a speculation to essentially say everything would need carbon to support life.

But anyway if people didn't have different views on things we wouldn't be where we are in technology now would we :)

What will you do with your old iPhone? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Don't you think thats narrowminded? For all we know life on other planets could have evolved to live on anything, not specifically water carbon etc... and you can't say its impossible because we have no way of knowing for sure. Think a little bit wider then what was taught in school my friend.

iPhone SDK agreement forbids real-time route guidance, dancing, rock'n'roll {Engadget}

Lenovo has some funny-ha-ha times at MacBook Air's expense {Engadget}

Apr 30th 2008 2:04PM See, i use Apple computers and i use my DVD drive on a very regular basis. Couldn't really cope without it to be honest. But as stated its obviously not something its built for. Although apple did get mocked years ago for getting rid of the floppy drive and implementing cd drives and we know how that went. Guess we see how this fares...

Video: iSwish puts the iPhone UI on any Windows Mobile phone {Engadget}

Apr 30th 2008 8:29AM trappy why would i want a dozen different versions of mail and a web browser when the ones i have work perfectly fine? I have no problem with people doing it but it just confuses me when these particular people moan about os x and then change there os to look like it. By that i do NOT mean all windows users do it, just a select few.

There was no rant, just an observation. I was not pissed off at all, if you think i sounded pissed off then you obviously speak a different language, or at least have a different understanding of it.

Also you say that a windows mobile would have much better hardware then a 2nd gen iPhone, yet you don't know what hardware it will have, you just assume it will be worse.

Yes boot camp is good and i use it for the unreal engine. What is wrong with that? I am not hacking my computer to function differently. I am just using a tool that came with it. If i however changed how my mac looked and functioned then you would have an argument, but as it stands you do not eggowaffle.

Also i am sick of this whole "fan boy perspective" thing that everyone goes on about. Its pathetic and childish. If we are going to start calling Apple users fan boys then we can narrow every single person down to some kind of fan boy. Fan boy is the oldest and most tired excuse for a reason why someone likes something other then windows. Its almost as old as the whole "does it play doom" thing.

Apr 30th 2008 3:51AM I completely agree, this is a win for Apple not Microsoft. It actually should become a depressing realization for Microsoft that all those people out there who claim to hate the iPhone; end up hacking there other phones to effectively become an iPhone.

Same applies to windows users hacking there system so it looks like mac os x and functions like it. Yet they would never buy a mac, and its not the price that puts people of who i know... weird. Its one of life's mysteries.

Latest iPhone beta firmware does full screen captures, saves web images {Engadget}

Apr 14th 2008 6:00PM So lets have a special version for bloggers and such people and a not so special one for general users.... /S

Also just because you might not use the feature doesn't mean it shouldn't be there, if you don't need it don't use it.
