I play guitar but had literally hundreds of hours of fun with Guitar Hero with friends too.. But IMO it is getting out of hand..
A stomp box just to activate star power? Drums? DJ Hero?
Surely buying some actual electronic drums or some decks would be so much more satisfying?
These games give people instant satisfaction and when they eventually try to pick up a real instrument, they will be discouraged that they cant actually play Through the Fire and the Flames on a real guitar without a few years of hard work.
I actually think we will see a big drop in the quality / skill of actual musicians over the next decade or so because of these games
Lego is awesome, It really is a great toy, More kids these days should be building crap out of lego instead of playing lame wii games :D Lego broadens the mind... Mechanical / Logical thinking and such
