Nov 29th 2007 4:59PM Nikon has really ramped up the competition with the D3 (after years of being behind). I bought the 5D when it first came out and have had 2 of them damaged due to being used in humid weather. Let's hope Canon releases a weather sealed 5DMk2 that will compete with the D3.

Nov 29th 2007 4:55PM Agree with Nick, weather proofing and a self-cleaning sensor would make this camera just about perfect, it's the closest thing to a film camera I've had in all the digital SLRs I've owned.

Nov 29th 2007 4:52PM As a Canon user, the best thing about this is to see their main competitor come out with a camera that can actually compete with Canon's top of the line. Hopefully it will spur Canon into updating their product line sooner (weather sealed 5D anyone?).
