What? The GBA release of FF6 was better than any other western release in nearly every way.
Low ranked due to buyer's remorse. While Blu-ray does look better, it certainly doesn't look 30 dollars per disc + 500 dollar player worth of better. And like it or not, before long, your Blu-ray collection will be obsoleted by digital distribution. Embrace it.
In general, games that don't use draconian protection schemes like this tend to sell far better. They'll learn, or they'll never see another dime from me. If they're going to treat me like a criminal, I may as well live into it.
I'm enjoying my pirated copies of Mass Effect and Spore. I was looking forward to buying them at launch, but they've made it very clear that they do not want my money, and I'm happy to oblige them.
I'm seeing a lot of buyer's remorse in this thread, when deep-down somebody knows they spend a bunch of money on a useless piece of shit so they go online and take their deep negative emotions out on people who were smart enough not to invest in said piece of shit. A good movie is enough to stand on its own and not need a 5,000 dollar TV and a 600 DVD player to enjoy it. I enjoyed Empire Strikes Back as much on my 20" Walmart SD TV hooked up to my 15 year old stereo as you did on your 1080p 80" HDTV, and deep down you know this.
Oh wow. Just FYI, I have never owned an Apple product and probably never will. They make nice software, but their hardware is trendy, overpriced consumer garbage. Apple damn sure doesn't "hold a patent," but "slick" white plastics is their doing and anybody who says otherwise is full of shit. Which is a damn shame in my opinion, since black always has been and always will be cooler in my opinion.
Of all the companies to actually succeed at stealing some of Apple's cool, Asus is one of the last ones I would have expected.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
