I bought the AT&T Tilt (HTC TyTN II) instead of the iPhone. It's about the same price ($199), but it can do just about everything the iPhone can do, and has a slide out qwerty pad, and runs on WM 6.1.
I want this...so give it to me...or ill kill you with the wrong end of a basketball.
Oops, that it is...go me for not putting 2 and 2 together.

For some reason I could have sworn I hit the read link and got sent to the PC World Page. I blame this on lack of sleep and not enough coffee!
According to a few sites, the Xeon Server Penryns will be running 1600MHz FSB speeds. There is a rumor floating around a few sites that the 45nm Penryn consumer chips are going to be running slightly slower, somewhere in the neighborhood of 1333MHz.

That isn't confirmed though. You might not have to wait until Q3 08 after all. I know I'm waiting to make my laptop purchase until the 45nm chips are on the market for a little while. Santa Rosa didn't do too much for the laptop scene.
"Additionally, DT expects a 2.4GHz T8300 ($241) and 2.1GHz T8100 ($209) to pop only with the cache rolled back to 3GB"

3GB cache?!

Really? Where was I when THIS was announced?!
I'll have to test it out a little more on my end, but I might be in a different boat w/ Comcast because the house I live in is also a business account w/ Comcast. If they are engaging in data discrimination on home users, I wonder if the business users are able to get around this and not have their packets tampered with.

My torrent speeds have been pretty good as of late, which is why I wonder if this is the case. I can hop on a fairly active torrent and get 200+kb/s download speeds depending on what my settings are at that point in time and how many seeds are out there without seeing nosedives in speeds or anything.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
