@no_one: Yeah, right, it's cool to bash the PS3 in year 2006. But looking back at this 3-year-old article most of the points seem pretty laughable.
M3-like performance + hybrid efficiency. That's pretty attractive in my book.
Yeah I'm pretty sure there once were some guy saying the exact same thing 40 years ago when the first hybrid concept car showed up.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the game which you considered crap has just received 8 awards (including overall game of the year) in this year's AIAA. I'm not a big fan of Sony's other products either, but SCE's current strategy of first party game development actually turns out to be much better than the competition.
According to the roadmap the next gen TV spec indeed will have 4k-by-2k resolution. There will be demand for this once 60-inch panels starts mass production and price starts to go down. And that's gonna happen sooner than 2020, more like 2010~2012.
@Gene

keep dreaming, baby :)
so.....do you mean we all need to go buy a Wii Fit?
I guess you really don't know what you are saying. Or maybe to you the recent Sonic rehashes are less rubbish?
Interesting. However I just can't help noticing all the zig-zag shadow edges and unatural building textures. Probably still needs a little more polishing.
It's indeed "start" in traditional chinese (in a skewed "italian" font).

@Mr. Stranger
Asus being a Taiwanese company it's natual that XP in traditional chinese is installed.

To be more precise, traditional Chinese characters are still used in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea. (Though Japan has made a few modifications in their Kanji characters, but still not as radical as simplified Chinese.)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
