I don't get it, what's the point of the sliding home bar? Is it really so innovative that I'm the only one that thinks it would be better off as a virtual slider than a hardware piece? Something so small (the slider) is just asking to be broken immediately.
Uhm, isn't it a form factor change, not a protocol change?
I'm guessing nobody here knows how a stereo mic works, having two mics in the unit will work the same way, it's hardly high tech. Up close, the mic pointing to the vocal source pics up the majority of the sound while the other points the other way and is getting a slightly weaker signal, while background noise will hit both mics at the same time and the waves will cancel each other out.
Sounds to me like all you'd have to do is print up some nice big Gateway stickers and slap 'em over the dell logo... problem solved.
Right. Because most people wardriving are coincidentally house shopping. Might as well put out used car mailers for my neighbors' cars so I when I get the mail I see the cars...
Sounds great, does it come with a barf bag and some motion sickness pills? There's a reason display goggles haven't caught on in 20 some odd years...
So basically, enough people were doing it/wanted it that the government made it legal for them to do it, even in the face of arguments from the RIAA equivalent in AU. Why doesn't that work for p2p also?
Now with support for hundreds and hundreds of dollars!
Tivo, thank you for showing me the light. I'm very happy now with my Mythtv setup. Promptly eat loose stool and die, we'll miss your payment plan about as much as I'd miss my cell phone bill.
If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. First of all the specs. PB G4 500, 1gb ram, 40gb HD. WORKING! (mostly) I don't have iLife, so I'm guessing that's why it spits "an error occurred" when I try to launch that... the real problem I have is that it doesn't show the different icons for the different modules (itunes, movie, etc...) so I have to arrow and guess by the different sound of each module. Also, is there a preference pane that should be going with this, and if so, can it get shared? I don't know how or where or if there even are preferences for frontrow, but I'd like to know if there are.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
