Totally agreed. I have a MX revolution, and it just blew me away when I first used it. If you're considering getting one, here's why you should:
-good battery life so you're not stranded without a working mouse -weighted scroll wheel that keeps spinning (actually surprisingly useful) -a couple other useful buttons in unobtrusive places -awesome ergonomics; this mouse fits into your palm absolutely perfectly (unless you're left-handed) -good laser tracking (perfectly capable for anyone except the most stringent gamers) -decent software package with good individual application settings -good wireless implementation (just a USB dongle for the wireless, the dock is for charging)
There's only one reason why you shouldn't really, which is the price. But I think that the features are worth the dough. Highly recommended.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
