I want this laptop so badly.
This is very cool stuff. I work at a Japanese science museum and they have an interactive demo of this robot. It's so much cooler in real life.
Aren't those "app omissions" due to antitrust law worries?
I was just going to post the same thing. One of those hilarious corporate disclaimers.
Am I the only one who glanced at the title and thought it said "$9 PMP"? Maybe I am. Just wondering.
Anyone know when this means it will actually be released?

I'm betting 2013.
On the other hand, the people who are "confused" probably won't care either way, whereas the diehard proponents will finally be satisfied.
Totally agreed. I have a MX revolution, and it just blew me away when I first used it. If you're considering getting one, here's why you should:

-good battery life so you're not stranded without a working mouse
-weighted scroll wheel that keeps spinning (actually surprisingly useful)
-a couple other useful buttons in unobtrusive places
-awesome ergonomics; this mouse fits into your palm absolutely perfectly (unless you're left-handed)
-good laser tracking (perfectly capable for anyone except the most stringent gamers)
-decent software package with good individual application settings
-good wireless implementation (just a USB dongle for the wireless, the dock is for charging)

There's only one reason why you shouldn't really, which is the price. But I think that the features are worth the dough. Highly recommended.
I don't really think that cpu-intensive 3D games are really the primary purpose of this machine...but I agree that some good games would be nice.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
