looking forward to Pain and Everyday Shooter (why is E'vy Shooter taking sooo long to come over to U.K!!!)
Additional Motorstorm and Warhawk stuff will be fun also.

only had my PS3 for a few weeks now so playing catch up on Warhawk, Resistance, Motorstorm (& God Of War II!!)

Enoying it at the mo', no regrets.

Hope those cool new PS3 ads hit our small island soon.

U.K ROCKS!!!!!
When Are we going to get EVERYDAY SHOOTER!!!!!!! on Euro PSN
Engadget reports that the 60Gb will drop to £369 but it will loose the bundle pack included in the price (1 controller + 2 games of choice which sony see's as £110 extra of goods) which most UK stores sell for £399.
Do the maths, this is not good value!!!!!
Maybe it's worth getting the current £399 bundle deal before the bundle packs disappear for the immediate future.
Already seen this on U.K site for preorder of £39.99 ($80) Hope this isn't the case
Just read on Engadget that new 360 Elite only supports HDMI version 1.2 and not 1.3!!! how dumb are you MS!!
Gonna get me a PS3 soon with all that future proofing, extra colour palette goodness that 1.3 offers on top of True Dolby/DTS digital sound.
This is dumb Microsoft - 1.2!!!. I too will be buying the PS3 as it has version 1.3 and it's all about the future. There are more and more TV's coming around the corner (even in the U.K!) which WILL support 1.3 as well as AV receivers. The colour palette on 1.3 is huge compared to 1.0 - 1.2 so visually, PS3 games will just look better and better and then off course the benefits of TRUE DD / DTS.
Over the next 6 months, the proliferation of 1.3 supported hardware will catch up with the PS3 and all that know the benefits will consider this as a positive over the XBOX360. Sorry Microsoft but you've lost me as a potential customer now.
No mention on the press release about whether the HDMI's are version 1.3 or not - anyone know?
totally agree
I just hope these sets come to the U.K soon and are not highly priced
Excellent upgrade guys
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
