You guys sure your allowed to share that video? I mean has Murdoch cleared it? He could accuse you of stealing his content. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- £6000 isn't a lot for restoring your eyesight. People with this disability would do anything to have their eyesight back. I know I would and I know people with the ailment would too as its a very cruel thing to have happen to you. Trying living without sight for one day and see how you manage.
I had my first contract phone with them back in Nov07 and it was also the first time that I used T-Mobile. At no stage did they indicate that HSDPA would not be available to me, despite them advertising the phone as having HSDPA (it is also advertised on the box). Low and behold I get the phone and play around with it and to my surprise I wasn't getting HSDPA connections, so I queried it them them.
To my utter shock and disbelieve my "tariff isn't eligible for an HSDPA connection". No where in the T&C did it mention this and nowhere on their site did it mention it (the site has been updated since I took out my contract with them). I was completely pissed off and caught out and their CS people were very unaccommodating. They had one chance with me and they blew it - simple as that.
Another thing that is shocking with them is that their signal output is absolutely appalling despite me living in a "good" connection area. I could put my phone down somewhere and have a full signal then I could literally move it one inch in any direction and get no signal. On occasions I have put it down while having a full/good signal and left the phone and when I come back I find the signal is completely gone. I've also heard of other people experiencing similar things, it's just a seriously lacking network.
It behaves in this temperamental manner all over the place, and if it wasn't so annoying (and serious if you need to make an emergency call) it would be a comical. I really have to be careful where I put it down and where I use it. I could be walking while using it and get completely cut off because I hit a bad reception patch, even while right in the middle of town. I'm just...oh so pissed off with T-mobile and their lame service.
I can't wait for them to phone me up and try to persuade me into getting another contract out with them. By the time I've finished them their ears will be bleeding. They've really made the experience of owning a vario III very disappointing. Even their 3G service is dire.
What is all this nonsense talk of Sony allowing MS to stick a Blu-Ray drive in the 360? If MS wants to put a BR drive in the 360 than it is down to the BDA to welcome them on aboard and allow them to do that not Sony. Sony might be one of the biggest drivers, owners and contributers to Blu-ray but they haven't got the exclusivity to say whether a particular company is allowed on the BR bandwagon, its up top the BDA as a whole to decide that. If Sony say no to MS but the rest of the BDA says yes then there isn't anything that Sony can do about it.
Yes they do which is strange considering Starfleet and the Federation is all about love, tranquility, peace and respect, so sticking their dead into something that reminds everyone of war, hostility and generally the opposite of all the good things I pointed out previously is something I have always found strange since I saw ST3 for the first time.
Meh, these kinds of things are completely pointless if your able bodied, they just make the human race lazier and lazier.
When I had my 360 (may 07), I paid £290 for the premium console, which included: 2 controllers , Gears of War, PGR3, Crackdown and the Arcade games disk which included Geometry Wars. Until the PS3 reaches this kind of value I won't be getting one.
2) HD-Media looks superior to DVD, you only have to look at the specs to work that out. I have Transformers on both DVD and HD-DVD and there is simply no contest between them. The HD version blows the DVD version clean out of the water where picture quality goes. People and objects almost have a 3D quality to them, so to say that HD has no noticeable improvement over DVD is frankly wrong.
-Please predict the winning lotto numbers for this weekend if your so good, I'd really appreciate it.
-The capacity has nothing to do with blu-ray winning, the average consumer will not see a difference between a blu-ray film and a HD-DVD film despite blu-ray having a higher bit-rate.
-The xbox 360 is a GAMES CONSOLE, that is how it is marketed, that is how it is mainly used. Why should Microsoft waste time putting a HD-DVD drive in it which would also have brought it much closer in price to a much more widely used and recognized brand i.e playstation? Microsoft wanted an early march on the PS3 and so far it has worked out for them, despite them cutting corners during the 360's development. Another reason why there is no HD drive in the 360 is because of XBL where people can download HD content.
- The PS3 helped but there are more factors to Blu-Ray winning than simply sticking a drive in a PS3. I also have to ask the question... How many PS3 owners use their blu-ray drive for watching films on a regular basis? None of my mates seem that fussed about it and it is very hard to get accurate information about such a thing for a global market when a format is FORCED upon them. At least with the 360 HD-DVD drive you could be pretty sure that people were buying it to watch HD.
-You could be right about the PS2 making the uptake of DVD quicker, but DVD had no competition; moving from VHS to DVD was an obvious and logical move to make because DVD had so many more plus points than VHS ever had. As pointed out above the PS2 needed DVD not the other way around. Moving the market over to Blu-Ray will take years because DVD is firmly planted in peoples lives and in my experience many people who aren't techies simply don't care for HD, many still haven't heard of it or understand it let alone understand was blu-ray is.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
