wow, this is really nice. If i was to have this stuff, I would keep most of it as I'm a tech junkie. The rest of the stuff I might consider giving to my friends and family, if they absolutely NEED and couldn't bare going through the torture of living another day without those certain gadgets. ...maybe. :P
Thank you Ryan, and good luck to everyone entering for the giveaway.
No pressure sensitivity... man what are you talking about? there are 1024 levels of pressure, and OH MIGHTY Wacom has 512. I'm sure there were product details at the time of your posting. I have this tablet and I'm very satisfied with it. I bought it for $84 on sale but usually its $105, which is still incredibly cheap for 6x10 drawing area (the cheapest Wacom i saw was Intuos3 6x11 for $370 on newegg). 29 programmable macro keys are a big plus, a nice looking design is very attractive: piano finish and slim - 4mm. It was mentioned that the pen does take 1 AAA battery, so far I'm on my first battery and I've been using this tablet for about 2 month. the only thing i see as a con is that there is no eraser tip on the pen... but nothing a little modding couldn't solve :p Besides i don't think that alone is worth the extra $265.
lol I've used MACs and they limit users to a very basic computer usage. So, to my experience mac's are not even an option to me. I like to modify my computer in every way to make it work for me and not the other way around like in MACs... I am a graphic artist and love to compose music and edit videos occasionally and I have much more freedom on a PC when doing those things. So its all about personal preferences and user knowledge of operating systems they have used. My point is, if you don't know what you're talking about than shut up. If you haven't tried something to a certain extent and you're being biased about it, than it means you're incredibly simpleminded; generally those people are MAC owners... go figure. What are you exactly trying to prove when classifying people by types of computers they use. Macs are for 'beginners' in computing PERIOD. PCs are for 'professionals'. Any advanced user with knowledge of both systems would agree. And stop ganging up on 1 person, thats just low.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
