Great image quality to distract you from the cheesy giant logo and weird base.
@limmy
I just got a Kodak p725 and it has no branding, just a simple (and thin) black border around the screen, which is of pretty high quality and resolution.

How do you like it? What hardware / OS are you running? Can you play BR rips?

The DirectX port is not using DXVA, which is the only reason I would care about DirectX vs OpenGL.
There is however a fork being done very recently with a DXVA enabled player. It is not part of the main release, however.
Does anyone actually use one of these micro projectors? They have some gadget appeal but seem too low-power to be useful for much.
I remember the Solar Challenger flying from France to England on solar power back in 1981. There is nothing new under the sun.

The PS2 was very complicated compared to the Dreamcast as well. Developers had a very hard time getting good performance out of the PS2 and I still prefer the Dreamcast's smooth animation to the PS2's shimmery aliasing. The Sony marketing juggernaut was going full speed with the PS2 and Sega didn't stand a chance, even before people could compare the finished products.
It is 3DO, like vide-o. No zero.
A pretty good console for those days before the 3D mass market. A gamer had to choose between a 3DO or a Voodoo card for thier PC if they wanted decent performance.
The 3DO version of Need For Speed was a standout title. It used some graphic tricks such as only rendering the POV from one direction which made it impossible to drive backwards. But it worked. It also had much more realistic physics than the PSX (and later) versions, more civilian cars on the road, and an obnoxious challenger in another supercar who would talk smack after he beat you.

No duh. Apple is usually behind the times. They take a good idea, cripple it, insult the potential buyers, and then collect the checks.
I'm sure no one will have a DVD drive in even 20 years, but by then scanners (or whatever replaces them) will probably be able to read a dvd by imaging it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
