Autoblog only goes gaga for GM products.

But seriously, this car will cost probably around 50+, Lotus costs 45K plus the EV should make it very expensive.

I think that Town and Country has a much better chance of becoming a real car that will sell in real numbers.
Its criminal to admit that Americans did something wrong here. Have you ever heard a single politician tell it like it is? NO.

Americans as a people buying all this stuff on credit cards and than blame Lehman, Mastercard, Republicans......whoever.
Hamud, Europe is officially in recession. How much can they make in there?
Interesting video, that car just flies.

Here's my question, obviously that Cobalt is speeding, so the driver is breaking the law, so my question is who was the genius in Cobalt who took a shot of license plates of that GTI (if i am not mistaken). Also, why would you speed on public road and put the name of you company on the video, just do it at the track.
Penguin you are right, Cobalt also sells in big numbers. The thing is that these cars are sold either at a loss or at a tiny profit. People want GM and Fords cars, just not at the price GM and Ford want to sell them at.

No one is trying to kill they. These are market realities. Making a product no one wants will lead to this. This has been coming since about 2000, slowly GM had to sell asset after asset to raise money, first Huges Electronics then GMAC, TopKick (i am not sure they sold it), Hummer, now there are no more assets to sell, they are not selling cars (at profit) and there's no credit......and country is ABOUT (we are not there yet, the worst is ahead) to enter a recession.

If the worst is still ahead, and they are already nearly dead, why take a huge risk insuring them?
Phatty, you are right about that Cobalt is older than Civic.

But let's compare Malibu and Accord, let me tell you this I have seen Impala, Malibu is light years ahead of it. While Malibu has a nice interior, to the touch it is not all that, it is better than all other GM cars but it is not better than Accord. I personally think that Accord is a semi luxury car. Fit and finish is amazing. Malibu is a huge improvement it is not quest as good as some other cars out there. Malibu's Chocolate color is nice but once you touch it it is cheapish, not bad at all, but not better than Accord.

But my point is the same nevertheless GM is dying because of the product, yes Cobalt is old but but Cobalt and Civic are on the market at the same time nevertheless.
Actually GM does very well with media.

The media is calling Volt the savior and refuses to acknowledge that Volt will be a money losing vehicle throughout its first generation...ACCORDING TO BOB LUTZ. Also media (autoblog included) tells the Kool Aid drinker (viewer) that GM is doing great in Asia and that Buick is like Jesus in China. The very same media has never looked at GMs numbers for Asia, where they are losing money.

The media is not calling for Wagoners head, pardon me, for his 17 million dollar a year, Harvard educated MBA head.
Rocket is bringing out big guns.

I like John, he is a great guy. But come on, 2.1 are not coming back, simply because they make an inferior product. As simple as that.

Do you have a problem with what i just said? OK, Go to a Chevy dealership sit in the highest trim Cobalt with leather and all that. Then go to a Honda dealership and sit in a mid level Civic, see which is better. Cobalt looks like its a car from 6 years ago.

And if you are still not convinced take both for a drive.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
