lmao Mel. You're doing it wrong. If you wanted it to find spots around your current location, you leave the 'Location' field blank leaving the gray "Current Location" content there. That's what I did and it worked for me. Although I still don't like their implementation much as I would have appreciated it more if it gave a list of my local query with how far AWAY each was instead of just giving me a bunch of pizza places.....

You guys think this came out just in time or too late to be included in the iPhone to be announced this summer? Nothing more I hate than buying hardware with last generation protocols. Which is exactly why I'm not buying any new laptops until I start to see them with the USB 3.0 spec.

Wait, 20,000 apps? Really? That's it? WinMo fanboys the world over gave me the impression that WinMo had SOOOO many more apps that the iPhone has....Yet, on Jan. 16th, the App Store had 15,000 apps, an increase from their Dec. 5th,2008 tally of 10,000 apps. If that acceleration stays constant or even grows, will Apple soon be able to claim more apps in the App Store (in less than a year of being open, mind you), than WinMo has available or am I missing something here?

Your level of ignorance and its accompanying air of 'certainty of knowledge' is very unsettling. The iPhone CAN open Office Documents (as well as many other formats) like any other WinMo or RIM phone and you CAN create your own ringtones for FREE you ignorant POS. Do us all a favor: if you have no idea what an iPhone can or can't do (definitively, unequivocally, and without a shadow of a fuck*ng doubt), then either ask someone who DOES have an iPhone and is well apprised of its abilities what it is capable of or just keep your ignorant mouth shut.
