for once i like the look of a dell nice.
I'm still amazed when i see a/c or power windows as a "feature"
I always used to look at concept sketches and think "why do they draw them so outrageously stupid when if they ACTUALLY made the car like that it would be ugly as hell" and usually the cars would like halfway normal by the time they were production ready. but this looks just like one of those crappy sketches with it's too big wheels and tiny windows.

It feels kinda like the safety boards want us driving around in tanks with pillows on the front (for pedestrian safety) and playschool is designing all the cars now.
finally. it's not a huge decrease but still, nav systems cost $200 standalone for a comparable feature set/screen size, there's no way adding a $200 worth of tech to a car costs $2k to add even with profits squeezed in there. $400 should be getting nice systems at this point.
I really wish they had one in new england, doesn't seem like anybody cares about cars up here :-(
wouldn't that be bad like if you're in the middle of traffic and the pedal gets stuck and youre not smart enough to put it in neutral, and you hit the brake, what happens to power steering and such?
I was bummed when i found out my winmo phones front camera was completely useless. This is really cool i wish skype would just add native support for it but their excuse has always been the wide variety of hardware, maybe it was just laziness.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
