They fixed the 2407 lag in 2408. The initial 2408s had some minor lag issues which were later fixed in rev A01. I have it and it's perfectly fine.

Dell doesn't have any of the older revisions in stock, but if you buy it second-hand or from another store, make sure you don't buy the old rev.
A $500 mouse?
A $50,000 drawing app?
A $5 million dollar computer?

Just because something is expensive doesn't make it a joke. They could have special purposes and niche markets.

Dunno about NK, but in case of Iran the better way would be the normal way. You would have known that if you stopped watching Fox News.
Same here, when I bought my MBP I knew what I was looking for, I wanted OSX and knew Apple's build quality is a little bit better than others. Also if I call support I will understand the accent.

On the other hand EVERYONE else I know with a MB/MBP bought it just because of the fruit logo. It's hard to believe but most people buying Apple products don't really care/know what they get, as long as it's different, or hip or something.
When exactly is sinaplenty going to clock the fact that "currency conversion" is not the only affecting prices in two different markets?
It is possible with Fringe. You can use Skype, Yahoo, MSN, etc. Only over Wifi of course, in order to protect the man.
Maybe you should give a visit to Canada then.

When it's -30c (windchill -45) you really really don't want to take off your gloves to dial a number.
Embrace happened, but you fail to explain how in the world Microsoft is going to extend app store while Apple has a 100% lock on every aspect of it.

This EEE meme has been overused by OSS zealots and 99% of the time is completely irrelevant and non-applicable to the case in hand.
Try TouchMines, it's Free.
If by socialism you mean protecting consumers against greedy (fruity) corporations, then yes, cheers to that!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
