o geeeze, another gizmo just to grab some free PR from iPhone fans..
why did they only certify ancient nokia phones?
you should know that nokia had something very very similar for pretty long now, and recently there's been an update check it out:

i love that aerial/birds eye view

its actually more useful than top down satellite
@afwjam yeah, true that

i also have a N86, i bought after returning a Samsung Galaxy, as it was just utter crap, i got so accustomed to my former N78 that i just upgraded to the N86.

and the apps argument isn't true, it's just that symbian apps aren't centralized in one repo. www.getjar.com is a great site for symbian apps, and you can install them without an iTunes account!!!! you can even sync your phone without an iTunes account!!!
Symbian is the most versatile OS out there. just take a look at recent news: two-way video skype calling on symbian phones...

that's why i'd say: iPhones are for the blunt consumer idiocycrowd, while symbian phones are still phones for professionals/enthusiasts that know what they're doing and know what they want. everybody wants an iPhone these days.., then when i tell my friends what my N86 can do (FM radio, transmitter, bluetooth protocols, flash, etc..) they're just impressed. I guess nokia should ramp up their advertisements again, and get crackin' on a finger friendly UI for touch phones, their hardware designs were great i'd say, and their built quality has recovered from a phase of bad materials..

just my 2c
thats so hot it made me come.

i want this now,

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
