A lot of those 2 million Facebook users were probably entering the contest that required you to connect to Facebook to enter. These apps are worthless IMHO. Last.fm would be awesome if I could use it in games and Facebook is only good for browsing photos (and don't even get me started on how much I hate the new Zune Video crap and Twitter). Thankfully they aren't forcing you to use any of this stuff. You can even delete the Zune application and go back to using the old stuff if like me you are only downloading videos in the Games Marketplace.
We are getting nothing but lip service from Engadget today.
Surely just sticking the Xbox 360 internals inside of a HTPC case could produce something better looking than this. The Lian Li case for the Xbox 360 is nicer than this.
Wow you mean the first Android handset to get some decent advertising is doing better than the previous models you were lucky to even find in some store? AMAZING!!!!
I would remove Growl, DropBox, and iWork from this list. Replace iWork with either NeoOffice or Microsoft Office. For me my other two must haves are TextExpander and iKey or alternatively the slightly less fully featured but shaping up very nicely and cheaper FastScripts (the only thing that iKey does better IMHO is the ability to disable or change hotkey sets when a certain app is running or in the foreground).
Wish they would open another one here in the Oklahoma City area. The one we have now can get really crowded. Took me 20 minutes just to buy an iPod Shuffle a few months ago and that was at like 2 PM on a Thursday. I really think they should open a second store on the southside of the city. Sooner Fashion Mall in Norman would be a perfect location for one.
I have the preview version and I have to say this is a big bunch of nothing IMHO.

Being forced to use the slow Zune Video application really sucks when all you want to do is watch a game trailer you downloaded from the Game Marketplace.

The Twitter application is one of the worst Twitter clients I have seen.

The Facebook app only brings a limited set of Facebook functionality to your Xbox, about the only thing it is really good for is browsing photos on Facebook. If it supported Facebook apps/games it would be awesome.

Last.fm would be awesome if you could use it while doing other things (for instance playing games), but sadly it is another additional application that you have to launch to use.

Also even though they have a Music Game's store under the Music Marketplace the regular Game Add-On's channel in the Game Marketplace is still dominated by the music games.

I really wish they would work on streamlining their Dashboard interface some more and speed up how long it takes for the system to read content stored on the HD when generating the lists of said content.
Need more time and money. I am alternating between Forza 3 and Mass Effect (just a few achievements away from 100%). Unfortunately didn't have the money for both Borderlands and Forza 3 just like I don't have the money for both Dragon Age: Origins and Modern Warfare 2. Being poor sucks.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
