Camaro debuts in Australia along with lineage {Autoblog}
Jul 24th 2008 1:25AM Uh, new cars are heavier because of all those nice safety features to keep you from dying. I like them.
Also, all cars from the late seventies/early eighties were like that, emissions were choking them.

Jul 24th 2008 1:18AM Why do alot of these more recent Japanese cars look so ugly? The few exceptions I can think of are the Civic Coupe and the Accord Coupe, and the Altima, and Maxima. Eww.

Jul 24th 2008 1:11AM So? He'd rather have one of those cars. He may like the GT-R, but he would rather have the Camaro/Challenger/Oscar Meyer Weinermobile. I'd love me some GT-R, but for 70K, (more like 100K with dealer markups) I'd rather have a loaded Z06, if only because I've idolized Corvette for so long, and promised myself that I WILL own one.
;~; someday.

SanDisk CEO says Vista "not optimized" for SSDs {Engadget}
Jul 22nd 2008 1:05PM Uh, did you not read this thread? No current OSes are "optimized" for SSDs. All SSDs are basically the same, so it wouldn't make a difference.

Jul 22nd 2008 1:00PM Someone uses Windows Server 2008 as "Workstation" 2008. It works pretty well for him, other than a few program incompatibilities.

Jul 22nd 2008 2:33AM "Most of you aren't even old enough to drive"
*Raises hand* I'd still like to think I have an educated opinion. The Camaro went out of production because no one was buying them. They were uncomfortable, had crap interiors, and were expensive to insure. The Pony Car market was really weak in 2002, and the Mustang weathered it out by providing something that was just almost as fast as a Camaro, but better built, and more recent in design. Then they did the whole retro treatment and that's were we stand today... So yeah, its existence is justified by the Mustang, because its a COMPETITOR. You're not going to launch a competitor without justification. If the Mustang wasn't popular, there would be no Camaro, no Challenger, or any of that good stuff.

Jul 22nd 2008 2:27AM If you wanted a faster F-Body than the "Terminator" 'Stang (whatever the hell that is) you could have gotten an SLP Camaro, or a Firehawk. Don't forget the few 427 F-Bodies that were made.
PhattyDre, another thing that has the Mustang GT in an advantageous position is the gearing, the GT is better geared for acceleration, I'm sure.
