it said no bluetooth when the article was first posted, apparently they removed it, and so did the site they linked to. apparently they were mistaken, it has bluetooth but no infrared
Why didn't they just put the 650 in that form factor? They upgraded the RAM to 64mb but ditched Bluetooth? What the heck. Wouldn't it have been more cost effective (and friendlier for the consumers) to have dumped the excess 650 hardware they've got lying around into here? Why not stick with 32mb and Bluetooth and lower the price?
Since it doesn't have an HDMI port, I'll take a stab in the dark and say it doesn't do high def...
Jim, you take life too seriously.
Yes, Markus. Although iTunes movie files are now 640x480, the resolution on the iPod remains 320x240.
You couldn't go much bigger than this screen without either making the controls too small or the device too big.
Bluetooth is not a "cellphone technology". It just happens to be included on many cell phones.
Ryan, the headphone jack isn't exactly in the wrong place in the photo link you posted. Look at it again and you'll realize the picture was simply flipped horizontally by mistake. But good eye ;-)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
