I've always defended apple from microsoft fanboys when they call os x releases "service packs", but with the information they are giving us, it sounds like apple is trying to charge us for a service pack. There better be more than they are letting on...
At least we have Fox News to cover this in a fair and balanced manner.
I used to read cnet for tech news before I discoverred you guys. That should let you know just how gratefull I am to you.
Awesome. I use my phone primarily for web browsing (reason i switched from cingular 8525, to iphone), but i also do quite a few ebay auctions and like to quickly answer questions. The iphone sucks for email. I set it to check every 15 minutes (which sucks compared to my old pushmail). However, it doesn't even really do that. It rarely checks my email. It seems to do it only when i'm using the phone. This will be great. I'll just have to tell everyone to go back to my old email address. Thats always fun.
They really are. Personally for me its because i prefer the style of western hemisphere made games much more than the style of japanese games most of the time (there are rare exceptions). Xbox has more of the western games than either ps3 or xbox 360. I also like that the xbox is the perfect wedding of both pc gaming and console gaming IMO. There definitely are more pc ports for xbox360 than any other console. Until those points change (i doubt they will) i'm stuck hoping my console doesn't RROD on me.

ps. my first console RROD'd on me 10 months after i bought it. The replacement didn't work at all. The drive wouldn't open. Its replacement is still going strong.
The worst thing is that even though the format war is over, I still have to wait to buy a player until blue ray decides what profile they're going to stick with. Does anyone have any idea when that will be?
I love mediocre televisions!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
