I wonder if this means that the iSlate or whatever it is is meant to replace the lone Unibody MacBook? They usually do stuff like this when they are clearing inventory for the next iteration.
That kid's mocking the n64 kid, right? Right?????
@dcoaster I remember back in the day when we might get cache!!
@Wwhat I don't think it matters if it looks like a gun. Any homemade electronics would probably warrant you getting pulled aside for a personal through screening.
Good in concept. but you'll probably still be stuck with the "usage of any batteries other than our own may invalidate your warranty" issue. Not that they would have to know, but if the battery explodes or something they will probably be able to tell.
I'm still waiting for them to determine our brains are quantum computers.
And while manufacturers try to directly peddle their wares in the states, the operators probably continue to offer service to unlocked phones at a more expensive or equal price to subsidized phones depending on if you are on contract, which kind of makes it stupid to buy an unlocked phone if you don't have your heart set on one your carrier doesn't offer.
That'll be sure to piss off young people 20 years from now when the old farts (like me, being the 20-something crowd right now) have an impulse to actually touch their monitors to control them, much like some older people today have an impulse to touch the monitor to point something out.
That isn't even playing catchup. It looks almost identical to current Symbian Touch in terms of usage experience. Maybe they will at least follow common sense and lessen the need for double clicks and make the application menu more intuitive and less maze-like. Oh, and completely overhaul the development experience so you can just jump right in like you can with the iPhone.
I want one for my N900! Sounds like the N900 doesn't have the horsepower though (and I have no idea if it can act as a USB host).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
