Project Pink was supposed to be MS's cellphone. A processor-iPhone problem isn't a big deal when youre offering your (captive) market a better phone at a better price that works with your hardware.

But the Danger company members that were hired into Microsoft were sniped and dismantled to the extent that MS created the situation of Sidekick's cloud-based customer storage becoming LEGACY DATA that no one could support (this side of allegations of espionage). But that's also why Project Pink didn't go anywhere, b/c it was being as poorly grown as the Danger group was as poorly managed.

MS didn't give a rat's ass about iPhone syncing, as it had planned (maybe now) to have strong announcements about Project Pink to cloud iPhone and give Windows customers a tougher choice of migrating to iPhone (& via halo effect, Macs). But perhaps in this case it's just the opposite.
If it's hot then he musta did it,
if it's not then he wasn't with it

Look it's not about the excess. It's about the support. The space
shuttle booster rockets need way more fuel to get it where it's
going, right? When someone hit P-Diddy's scope, and it's almost
likely no one ever will again, or maybe one every five - 10 years,
you need:

1) someone who plans how you get in and out of public spaces
2) people who check the path and clear it for you
3) people to walk that path with you
4) people who sit far away from you to keep a broad view of the
situation
5) people to make sure the restaurant is clear
6) 3 cars to move all these people
7) so it's not just nachos and beers for you and your date, it's
nachos, beer, and hot dogs, and for the big guys double that, at a
sports stadium... figure $20 pp x 15 people - $300 right there
8) and that's before you go to the club where the vodka you drink is
a couple hundie a bottle, and if you're buying drinks after the game
that tab is going through the roof
9) not to mention any friends you make at the bar (not that people
wouldn't be thrilled to buy P-Diddy a drink)
10) so you could call this wretched excess, as you have but... have
you listened at least to the Bad Boy compilation CD? It's AMAZING.
11) Good records cost money to make. No, seriously, no matter what
everyone says about garage band, protools and what-not, it takes
serious intelligence and planning to make great music
12) those things take time and resources
13) P-Diddy makes great frickin' music here, people, so the public
trust is warranted
14) so please stop stealing his music
15) keep paying the man, for God's sake, because nobody operates a
fountain of cool like him except Jay Z
16) and let him keep his money, please because, it's useful, and
good, and well-spent
17) and you have no idea the depth of the man's charity
that's such a great picture. Interestingly that's an amount of cash that someone at his level has to keep on him. Whereas one person may need, say, $10 - 15 dollars to go out, he may need that much b/c I'm sure he supports a ton of people in his wake and doesn't feel like having his credit card information all over the place
this is news? I just saw a 32 inch 3d monitor at Bloomingdales in the cosmetics department
Can anyone please tell me:

What makes people not want to pay for music:

1) The idea of getting it for free elsewhere
2) The reality of getting it for free elsewhere
3) The perception that "big labels" are out there to "stick it to you"
4) Music sucks so why should I pay for it when I can steal it and it'll still suck
5) The cost of music is next to zero, so why should I be the guy to pay the dollar after the $125 it took the artist to make their money back

Really. I really, really want to know why anyone thinks they should listen to 40 hours of music and pay only a dollar for that experience. Really, really want to know.

Where am I coming from? I made a record. A good one. No, really, a really good one. I want to know what people are thinking about music these days. TEST ME: www.zetavang.com

how do you think it will compare to panasonics avccam at $2k? which is better for video? I think panasonic's camera, no?
perhaps they will take the spinning sands of time out of my blackberry curve running on sprint
they spin and spin and spin

all day long

perhaps to provide sand for apple's spinning beachball of death
rim has the hourglass of death

what does it take to provoke the hourglass of death?

unplug it
plug it
switch batteries
open an application
close an application
open the web
close the web
look at it wrong
set it gently on a surface

this is the wack-est phone ever
unless rim is seeking a class action lawsuit
they'd better fix this farcocta handset
who directed? david lynch? music by angelo badalamenti?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
