riiiiiight, because engadget writing about a few cracked screens and DOA's from mis-handling during shipment makes the entire line of core i7 macs "fail" according to your logic.. sheer boy genius you are!

actually, 24 cores inthe Mac Pros, and its "activity monitor", not "task manager"... lol

Mac Pros always have the edge in the pro world, but for Mom & Dad macfan, the 27" core i7 imac will keep them happy for a long time!

Cant wait to upgrade all my production Mac Pro's and xServes to dual i9's! 24 "cores" in each box! Saaaa-weeeet!

Really, Engadget? I Yawned... ppl have been putting OS X on non apple hardware for years... LRN2/OSx86... it's really not hard for some kid to download a prebuilt distro like iAtkos, and throw it on a Dell, Sony, Acer, whatever.. this kid cant even get the wireless to work... How is this news?

should rename it to An Hero...

"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
