RIP News Corp 1979-2009

Reporting the news isn't about making the biggest profit.
@Zune HD - Tegra is full of promise... this is a very exciting revalation. The Zune HD is finally going to be setting benchmarks instead of playing catch-up.

@Engadget - Could you have put even the tiniest bit of effort into sounding unbiased against MS? This post is as biased as your article about MS giving Windows Mobile users an "FU" for putting superior hardware on the Zune.

I know you have to pay the man who gives you those sleek laptops, but does that mean you have to dog their competitors, too?

Shake. Sit. Roll over. Good boy.
I haven't considered Nokia's phones high end since the N95 launched, but these new prices (for unlocked phones) are incredible. Six hundred dollars and up for any Nokia is completely ridiculous, but these prices are entirely reasonable.
Why does T-Mobile love dumbphones more than any other US carrier?
Damn right demos are mandatory. If prototype had a demo on the 360, I probably would have bought it. Without a demo, I probably won't buy it until it's on sale for $30.

Of course, not just ANY demo will do. Bionic Commando COMPLETELY SCREWED THE POOCH with that piece of crap level.
Netflix and Giganews = win.

Cable television is completely inferior. That's only pathetic because it's completely unnecessary. The cable companies and movie/television studios could fix it if they gave a damn about their customers.
The iPhone 3G S is great, but so is the Pre.

Honestly, I just can't find enough wrong with my HTC Touch to consider upgrading my phone. I can't believe I'm actually satisfied with my phone after all this time. But I am. Must have something to do with that netbook.

The only way anyone is going to convince me to upgrade in the next year is if a Tegra phone launches.
Ooo... that burns. Sounds like business to me.
I have a USB GPS for my netbook. Is there any software that will scan for networks while I drive around my city, logging their locations?
Doesn't the 32 bit work on 64 bit systems?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
