If you've played on, you've played them all. I always thought it was a decent concept that they never quite got right. And I would always try the next game thinking that they'll have improved something. Nope. Always the same game. I gave up about 10 versions ago.
This sounds like a joke. Besides, why not just use Twitter? Do people really want potential employers being able to look at their spending habits? This is a disturbing trend.
Only under a made-up definition of the word "proof"...
"We expect our financial projections to grow exponentially as we transition from a PC game developer to a Wii & Xbox developer."

Um, and this game is supposed to teach kids math? Haha. I don't think they understand what exponential growth is.
@tafuub:
NWN2? Are you kidding? That game is atrocious. It doesn't even have mana. You have to rest after every battle. That's not even fun. That's just tedious. Not to mention the story is complete and utter garbage. That game is not even worth playing and doesn't hold a candle to Dragon Age.

Anyway, you're a troll.

"Why does armor only mitigate damage and no help deflect it? Shield? Only absorbs damage. Why does dexterity or whatever they call it in this game, the only thing that can prevent damage?"

Um, because that's what armor does... You think taking a hit to the nuts while wearing armor doesn't hurt at all? Besides, there's also a component called armor penetration that you failed to mention. And Dexterity represents a character's ability to dodge. So ya, that makes sense too. I question whether you even played the game. Because there are also blocks and missile deflections. Blocks are even represented in the fighting animations.

Go back to living under your bridge, troll.
This is pretty much playing on the whole Netbook phenomenon. If all you want your computer to be is an internet machine, then why not have it boot in 7 seconds and only run web apps? Store all your sensitive data at home and leave all the other stuff in the cloud. It sounds like this could be useful to a lot of people. But I certainly don't think it's a Windows/Linux/Mac killer and I don't think they're trying to make it such. It's like Google is creating their own niche market.
Definitely a rental. Combat will no doubt be worse than Ninja Gaiden or God of War. Graphics are wholly unimpressive. Story is cheesy as hell (heaven vs hell? barf). It looks like they just grabbed elements from other games and slopped them together to make a completely boring and generic title.
I've had no luck with this for Leopard using a normal DVD, and 2 versions of a hacked DVD -- in VMWare. Gonna try on real hardware later.
I'm interested. Please toss my name into the hat. Thanks.
Ho-lee crap. That was fantastic. I like that they're releasing the FMV stuff now after there are already many minutes of gameplay. That's supreme confidence right there. I like it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
