GM had the writing on the wall for 20Yrs. It's not the publics fault they can't make good, cheap, efficient cars. The bailout that the government is cooking up is a stupid thing to do with my money.
A business fails if it fails to keep up with market sentiment. Period.
I have owned almost all manufacturers vehicles, motorcycles included. All have faults. Some will not be around. So goes the Dodo bird and the sabre tooth tiger.
Maybe a few less manufacturers is a good thing.

e85 is not the answer, unless NOT from Corn. It does and continue to stress food supplies.
I vote for Bio Diesel, nat gas, hydrogen, ANYTHING but Ethanol.

I've also had one since 12-24-07. it's fine. nothing spectacular. just fine. I disagree with the battery life comment. it seems to last longer than other laptops? wifi is great. screen is a little small and you have to scroll left/right to see CNN.com. I'd like a solar panel, crank and lighted keyboard. OH.. I ordered a second one two days before the offer ended!!! didn't get it yet. should be in a couple of days/weeks. they should keep the offer open, it'll benefit all!!

although, the blend of the two cars does look quite good. I'd like to see some more "interuptions" such as a hood louvre or scoop and maybe more flare in the wheel wells. stance should be a little lower.
just pickin' at it.

the SLK is nice but it needs more room. the wrap around dash is claustrophobic. for close to 50K.
