Anyone who watches Beck's show should note that almost every commercial for the show is from a gold vendor. Not just the one discussed in this article, but several different companies. I am tired of those commercials, but will not stop watching the show, as it has extremely valuable factual content. I see nothing wrong with Glenn making money for endorsing a company that sells gold as well as his discussing the benefits of obtaining gold as a security. Those who would silence Beck are those who fear truth, and wish to see the country go down the socialist drain. Since their arguments hold no water they resort to the tactic of ad hominum attacks, and this gold issue is just another flaming dart to throw at Beck to get the public off topic of the truths Beck presents.
Yes. Advanced Lumonics (AL) has the CL series bulb that looks like a standard incandescent.

I've been using several of the AL products for about a year now, and although the price is a bit high the quality is great. I look forward to checking out the new Evolux and FL bulbs.

I would imagine the prices will drop over time. It's that old supply/demand and start-up tooling costs economics at work.

If one truly wants to go green and truly wants to reduce their carbon footprint spending the green up-front shouldn't be the big issue.
I would have voted, but you didn't have a choice for LED lights. No flicker, no mercury and more bang for your buck. 10 watts as good as 60 watt incandescent.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
