Hmmm. I like the iTunes/iPod solution but am curious as to what features, functionality, and usability traits it would take to actually "kill" the iPod. I'm not sure it is possible unless Apple does something really stupid...and I don't see that happening either.

For now, I'll treat this as pre-emptive marketing by Microsoft.
Bah Bah Black Sheep
Have you any cool?
No sir. Nor sir.
iPods rule.
Can't compete on design.
Can't implement a store.
Oh well, I may as well whine a little more.

Aside from accumulating heat, it has been reported there is evidence that prolonged use among males could lead to fertility issues...HMM...perhaps Apple should market this as, "The protection for the rest of your life."

Yawn. Somebody please wake me with Origami's official time of death.
...and look like a complete idiot on the street for $270? No thanks. I can do that for free.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
