Does this work in the personals section? :-D ***Ducks***
Well that would be great if I wanted to actually use Windows Vista. I still prefer XP. It would be real nice if I could get the option in XP Pro.
Does it even come close to passing ACID3?
Try running it in wine?
Yes, Process Explorer (formerly a Sysinternals product, which was bought by Microsoft) is way better. WAY BETTER.

I guess the real question is, why is the "standards mode" an ActiveX component in the first place. I like the idea that all ActiveX components require security to run, but I'm sorry, "standards mode" should be so fundamental to the browser, it should be impossible to disable it.
That's funny. I have a feeling that many people are going to want to upgrade to Windows 7 (from XP) instead of Vista due to how "minimal" it is.
I find it interesting how some people are able to go to the acid tests and pass them, yet when I do it, I see it obviously does not pass. WTF Microsoft?
The official knowledge base article at Microsoft has also been updated recently, meaning Microsoft have acknowledged the issue (again):

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
